Part 1: Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using VibePass (vibepass.sbs), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, please do not use our platform.

2. Description of service

VibePass is an event ticketing and creator portfolio platform. We enable event organizers to create, promote, and sell tickets, and attendees to discover and purchase tickets to events.

3. Account registration

To use certain features (like selling tickets or purchasing tickets), you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities under your account.

4. Ticket purchase & refunds

All ticket sales are final. Refunds are only issued in the specific circumstances outlined in our Refund Policy (event cancellation, technical failure, rescheduling).

5. Creator obligations

As a creator, you are responsible for:

Accurately describing your event (date, time, location, age restrictions)
Honoring all tickets sold (no turning away valid ticket holders)
Providing a safe and lawful event experience
Complying with all applicable laws and regulations

6. Fees & payouts

VibePass charges a 10% platform commission on all ticket sales. Additional fees apply for boosted search, SMS/WhatsApp broadcasts, and verification badges. Payouts to creators are processed within 24-78 hours after approval, with a ₦150 processing fee per payout.

7. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

Use VibePass for illegal activities or fraudulent events
Attempt to bypass our row-level locking system
Scrape or copy our platform without permission
Harass other users or creators

8. Limitation of liability

VibePass is a platform connecting creators and attendees. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of any event. Our liability is limited to the ticket price paid.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of VibePass after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Part 2: Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect:

Account information: Name, email, phone number, username, password
Transaction information: Ticket purchases, payment details (processed securely via Paystack)
Usage data: Pages visited, events viewed, device information
Location data: With your consent, for event recommendations

2. How we use your information

Process ticket purchases and payouts
Send ticket confirmations and event reminders
Improve our platform and personalize your experience
Prevent fraud and enforce our terms
Send marketing emails (you can opt out anytime)

3. Data sharing

We share your information only:

With event organizers when you purchase a ticket (name, email, ticket details)
With payment processors (Paystack) to complete transactions
When required by law or to protect our legal rights

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data security

We use industry-standard encryption (SSL) for all data transmission. Passwords are hashed. Our database is protected with firewalls and access controls.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Opt out of marketing emails
